3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Tony DeAngelo is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday against Detroit after clearing COVID-19 protocols. He returns after missing seven games. DeAngelo has been one of the most prolific blue-liners in the league with 19 points in 20 games. He also boasts a solid plus-10 rating with 43 shots and 14 blocks. Carolina has suffered an outbreak of the coronavirus, and a number of skaters won't be available on Thursday, but DeAngelo's return provides at least some good news for the team. Steven Lorentz, Jordan Staal, Ian Cole, Seth Jarvis, Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov are all on the COVID-19 list.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
