Curtis Samuel Will Miss Sunday’s Game
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Eagles. Samuel has appeared in a limited capacity over the past three weeks since returning from a groin injury, but this time a hamstring ailment has forced him into street clothes. Having combined for just six receptions and 27 yards as a receiver across five games, Samuel's season has been a stark downturn from the rising production that he delivered during his first four years with Carolina. With the Washington QB room thrown into flux by COVID-19 testing, any pass catcher is a risky proposition, but DeAndre Carter and Adam Humphries figure to flank Terry McLaurin out wide Sunday. Samuel's next chance to suit up comes in Week 16 vs. Dallas.
