Dennis Schroder Will Miss Friday’s Contest
3 years agoBoston Celtics point/shooting guard Dennis Schroder (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Warriors due to an illness. Schroder's absence figures to funnel minutes toward Payton Pritchard, although his DFS viability is in question with Marcus Smart holding down starting PG duties. Schroder's output during December has fluctuated wildly, with games of 31 and seven points under his belt in a seven-contest stretch. The 28-year-old remains a viable season-long fantasy asset due to his 17.1 points per game average in his first year with Boston. His next chance to take the floor comes Saturday against New York.
