3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday showed his old team what they are missing on Friday, scoring a career-high 40 points on 18-for-36 shooting in an overtime loss to New Orleans. It was a solid performance from the field but Holiday actually struggled with the three-ball, going 1-for-8 from deep. His work included five rebounds, five assists and two steals with four turnovers in 44 minutes. Giannis Antetokounmpo (health and safety protocols) and Khris Middleton (knee) were out here again, so everything flowed through Holiday on the offensive end, and he did a good job carrying the team. Middleton was listed probable for the game at first and isn't far from a return it appears. The Bucks play again on Saturday against Cleveland, so maybe the team just wanted to give him an extra day. Holiday's usage takes a hit if he returns.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
