3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard/forward Norman Powell enjoyed one of his most efficient scoring performances of the season on Sunday, going for 28 points on 10-for-16 shooting in a 105-100 win over the Grizzlies. He nailed five of his eight attempts from deep and shot 3-for-4 at the charity stripe. Powell had butterfingers and recorded five turnovers, but he also managed to snag three rebounds, four assists and one block in 35 minutes. This isn't the first time that we see Powell put up good scoring numbers, but he's previously done it with very inefficient shooting. He's shooting barely over 41 percent for the month, but this will hopefully get him going. A very weak defense awaits for Powell and the Blazers next, with Portland traveling to New Orleans.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
