3 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin logged a season-high 27:07 in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Los Angeles but failed to extend his seven-game point streak. The Capitals were without a number of key forwards and the top line did most of the work, with Lars Eller going for 23:27 of action and Daniel Strong hitting nearly 22 minutes. This is only the sixth game of the season in which Ovechkin hasn't tallied any points. He's having a huge year with 22 goals and 47 points scored in 31 games. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
