New York Places Daniel Jones On Injured Reserve
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) will miss the remainder of the 2021 season after the team moved him to injured reserve Monday as he continues to be bothered by a sprained neck. Jones last appeared in Week 12, paving the way for Mike Glennon to take over as the team's signal caller; that experiment may have run its course as Jacob Fromm finished the Week 15 defeat under center. Jones ends the year having passed for 2,428 yards to go along with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. His 64.3 completion percentage was a career best, although the Giants' offense struggled mightily to stay healthy, torpedoing their chances of staying competitive in the NFC East. Head coach Joe Judge has been mum on whether Glennon or Fromm will be under center in Week 16, but neither presents much fantasy intrigue, even in two-QB formats.
