Justin Fields Salvages Fantasy Day With Late TD
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields completed 26-of-39 passes for 285 yards and one touchdown while adding 35 yards on seven rushes in Monday's 17-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears rookie QB had a quiet first half as Chicago decided to use a heavy-run approach to begin the game. He salvaged his day by tossing a late touchdown to backup tight end Jesper Horsted with a second remaining in the game. The 22-year-old has thrown for 1,870 yards, seven touchdowns, 10 interceptions while rushing for 420 yards, and two scores over 11 games in 2021. Fields is a high-upside QB2 against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16.
