3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas (illness) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Orlando due to an illness. The absence from Valanciunas will mark his first of the season, making how head coach Willie Green divvies up his workload unclear. That being said, Willy Hernangomez stands to see sizable DFS appeal, as he is the likeliest option to see the lion's share of minutes at the five. Additionally, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, and Herbert Jones are all in line to see increased duties on the glass without Valanciunas and his 12 boards per game average available. Enjoying a career best offensive season thus far, Valanciunas has propelled himself into a top fantasy tier no matter the opposition.
