Karl-Anthony Towns Lands In COVID-19 Protocols
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Jazz after being placed in the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Minnesota is up to seven players unavailable under the same banner, paving the way for all active members of the rotation to have sizable DFS upside. Without Towns in the mix, Naz Reid should see as much of an offensive workload as he can handle, while D'Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley stand to see increased usage. The absence will be just the second this season for Towns, who has scored at least 21 points in each of his last 12 games. He remains sidelined indefinitely.
