3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward Trevor Ariza has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Spurs after being placed in the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Ariza has been perfect from the field since making his season debut Sunday, knocking down all five of his field-goal attempts. At 36 years old, Ariza remains a solid contributor for L.A.'s second unit, albeit not one that has yet merited season-long interest. Carmelo Anthony and Isaiah Thomas are likely to snag added shots off the bench for as long as Ariza remains sidelined.--Jesse Borek
