3 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is not expected to be cleared in time to take the floor for the Christmas Day matchup with the Knicks. Young's absence would be his third in a row, which would pave the way for Bogdan Bogdanovic and Delon Wright (ankle) to see big minutes totals. Young and the Knicks fans developed a banter last postseason, making the All-Star's return to Madison Square Garden one of the more captivating holiday hoops storylines. Young has gone for at least 25 points in each of his last 12 outings, averaging a gaudy 30.9 points and 9.4 assists in that stretch.
