3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard is expected to have an expanded role in the Christmas Day game against the Cleveland Browns with Marquez Valdes-Scantling on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The 26-year-old almost scored two touchdowns in the Week 15 win over the Baltimore Ravens, but QB Aaron Rodgers misfired twice on both occasions. Cleveland hasn't fared well against the opponent's secondary targets and ranks 24th in DVOA versus WR2s. He's caught 27 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns over 12 games in 2021. Lazard has only topped 50 yards twice this season but is expected to see an uptick in targets and can be considered a WR3/4 in a plus matchup against the Browns.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
