3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught two of five targets for 45 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for 13 yards in Saturday's 24-22 win over the Cleveland Browns. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers connected with Lazard for an 11-yard score for his 443rd career touchdown pass, breaking Brett Favre's franchise record. Lazard almost had a second score but dropped the touchdown pass while being draped by a defender in the second quarter. The 26-year-old has caught a touchdown in two of his last three games. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (COVID-19) is expected to return; Lazard should see a lesser role in next Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
