Mike Williams Remains Sidelined For Week 17
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams will miss Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, as he remains on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and is unvaccinated. Additionally, cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and safety Nasir Adderley will miss the game, leaving the Chargers defense without two key starters in the secondary. Williams missed Week 16 against the Texans, allowing Joshua Palmer to have a bigger role, while running back Justin Jackson led the team in both receptions (eight) and receiving yards (98). Williams enjoyed a blisteringly hot start to the year with four touchdowns in his first three games before slowing as the season has progressed. Still, the 27-year-old has snared a career-best 64 receptions and remains 38 yards shy of a new career-high in yardage. His final chance to suit up in the regular season will be in Week 18 vs. Las Vegas, but fantasy managers will want to monitor his status before the contest.
