Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr. Active Monday, Likely Won’t Play
3 years agoTechnically speaking, Houston Rockets shooting guard Jalen Green (rest) and point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) have been cleared to play in Monday's game against Charlotte. But that comes with a caveat: head coach Stephen Silas said that neither is likely to check into the game, as the Rockets are managing Green's workload and getting closer to a return for Porter. Green returned from a nearly one month absence Thursday and played 25 minutes, but with the team on the front end of a back-to-back, they will play it safe with their prized 19-year-old. Fantasy managers can anticipate him being back in the mix Tuesday vs. the Lakers. The same goes for Porter, who is expected to suit up for the first time since Dec. 3. The absence of the duo gives Armoni Brooks a considerable DFS ceiling Monday.
