Jae'Sean Tate, Kenyon Martin Jr. Land In COVID-19 Protocols
3 years agoHouston Rockets power forwards Jae'Sean Tate and Kenyon Martin Jr. have been placed in the league's health and safety protocols, ruling them out indefinitely, including for Monday's game against Charlotte. The absence for Tate will mark his first of the season, as he has enjoyed a scoring increase during December, sitting at 13.6 points per game across 13 contests. Martin has carved out a niche as an integral part of Houston's second unit, having scored in double figures (with one double-double) in six straight games from Dec. 13-22. Their absences at the four have paved the way for David Nwaba to start there, with Daniel Theis and Usman Garuba also candidates to see increased run.
