Williams missed the past five contests due to the league's health and safety protocols; despite that, he will not face a minutes cap of any kind. His return comes at a crucial time for Boston, who is down Marcus Smart (hand), Jayson Tatum, Dennis Schroder, and Josh Richardson (health and safety protocols) for at least one game, paving the way for elevated offensive roles for all healthy Celtics.
