3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans shooting guard/small forward Brandon Ingram (Achilles) has been listed as doubtful to play in Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers due to a sore left Achilles. An absence from Ingram will likely bump Garrett Temple into a larger role, which would give him DFS upside as the Pelicans navigate both injuries and the league's health and safety protocols. Ingram has enjoyed a scoring flurry during December, having averaged 27.7 points across his first 10 outings. While his overall shooting percentage has dipped slightly this season, Ingram has taken on unquestioned top dog status in the New Orleans offense, which bodes well for his upside over the second half of the year. His next best chance to return to action comes New Years Day vs. Milwaukee, which would give him just one game played for those fantasy managers eyeing decisions in weekly lock formats.--Jesse Borek
