Malcolm Brogdon Remains Unavailable For Wednesday’s Game
3 years agoIndiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Hornets due to a sore right Achilles, marking his third consecutive game on the sidelines. Caris LeVert is set to handle PG duties without Brogdon, while Domantas Sabonis also holds elevated assists upside. Brogdon has logged just eight minutes of game action since Dec. 15, which will likely force the team to bring him along slowly upon his return, particularly due to the nature of the ailment. Through 26 games this season, he has averaged 19 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.3 rebounds, but shot a career-low 31.1 percent from behind the arc. His next chance to suit up comes Friday vs. Chicago.
