Mark Giordano Turns Back The Clock On Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Kraken defenseman Mark Giordano was pumped to play his former Calgary Flames once again. Giordano scored a goal and helped out on two others to give him a three-point night. It snapped a four-game point drought for the defenseman. His goal at 5:46 of the first period opened the scoring. Giordano added a power-play assist and then another on the Jared McCann goal that tied the game at 4. Giordano is 38 and most of his best offensive days are behind him. However, occasionally, the defender can just produce nights like this. His ability to find holes in a defense never vanished. He now has 11 points in 26 games. A strong 2022 is possible for the defenseman.
