Teddy Bridgewater Officially Ruled Out
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) wasn't cleared from the league's concussion protocol this week and has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers. It will be Bridgewater's second straight missed game, and it remains to be seen if he'll have a chance to play in the regular season finale in Week 18 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Drew Lock will make his second start of the season and is already down two receivers in Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick, who are on the COVID-19 list. Courtland Sutton could be joining them before Sunday. Lock was tentative and indecisive in last week's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and cannot be trusted as a viable QB2 option in Week 17, especially with Jeudy and Patrick ruled out.
