3 years agoNew Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes carried the team to a 6-5 overtime victory against Edmonton on Friday, completing a three-point game with the game-winning goal 2:55 into the extra frame. He also opened the scoring with a power-play marker and registered an assist when Yegor Sharangovich tied the game with just 32 seconds left in regulation. Hughes has gotten the season rolling again in impressive fashion, recording three points in back-to-back games. He's lost some time to injury this season, but Hughes' performances have been good when he's been in the lineup, and the 20-year-old now has eight goals and 14 points in 15 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
