Lamar Jackson Officially Inactive
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) is officially inactive for Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Jackson was trending toward missing his third straight game when he missed practice on Thursday and Friday. Backup Tyler Huntley, who missed last week due to COVID-19, will make another start in place of the hobbled Jackson. Huntley hasn't played bad in Jackson's absence in two starts, but he also hasn't been great. In his last start in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers, Huntley went 28-for-40 for 215 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while also running for two touchdowns. Against a strong LA Rams defense on Sunday, Huntley will be a low-end QB2.
