Ricky Seals-Jones Ruled Out With Neck Injury
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (neck) was carted off the field in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles and will not return with a neck injury. Seals-Jones was injured when he crashed into a cameraman on the sidelines in the first half. Before leaving the game, Seals-Jones caught one of his two targets for only eight yards in the game. Rookie John Bates will finish out the game as the primary pass-catching tight end for Washington. He'll enter the second half with one catch on one target for a 24-yard gain. With only one game remaining in the 2021 season, it's unlikely that Seals-Jones will play in Week 18, which will give Bates more TE2 upside in Washington's low-scoring offense.
