Jared Goff Officially Out Against Seahawks
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Goff missed last week due to COVID-19, but he'll miss his second straight game this week with a knee injury that he suffered in the Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Backup Tim Boyle went 24-for-34 for 187 yards with a touchdown and an interception in last week's loss to the Atlanta Falcons and will make his third start of the year. Seattle's secondary is really good at giving up a ton of yardage to opposing QBs, but Boyle will remain a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes, especially since he'll be missing two starting receivers in Josh Reynolds and Kalif Raymond due to COVID-19.
