Texans Expected To Keep David Culley
3 years agoThe Houston Texans are expected to retain head coach David Culley in 2022, according to a source. Barring an unexpected turn of events, the Texans are expected to finalize that decision next week after the regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. Houston is only 4-12 this year, but they've already matched their win total from a year ago and have maintained realistic expectations during a roster overhaul. The 66-year-old Culley has led a competitive team in the second half of the season during a difficult rebuild without quarterback Deshaun Watson. Key offensive linemen Laremy Tunsil and Marcus Cannon have also played in a combined nine games this year. The Texans had an eight-game losing streak this year, but they are 3-4 in their last seven games, and rookie QB Davis Mills has had some impressive showings.
