Eagles Hoping To Have Miles Sanders For Playoffs
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said he is hoping that running back Miles Sanders (hand) will be able to play in the playoffs. It sounds as though the Eagles aren't expecting him to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday after Sanders broke his hand in Week 16 and missed the Week 17 win over the Washington Football Team. Fantasy managers playing for something in Week 18 shouldn't expect to have Sanders available for their lineups. Without Sanders in the fold on Sunday, Boston Scott handled a team-high 14 carries for 47 yards and two touchdowns while catching all four of his targets for 39 yards. Jordan Howard saw 11 carries for just 26 yards, and rookie Kenneth Gainwell had just one carry. Scott has the most RB2 appeal of the bunch going into this week's game, although Howard could be more involved a week after suffering a stinger.
