Julio Jones Comes Off COVID-19 List
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones, inside linebacker Jayon Brown and offensive lineman Kendall Lamm were activated from the Reserve/COVID-list on Monday. The Titans also placed tight end MyCole Pruitt (ankle) on Injured Reserve after he suffered an ankle injury on Sunday that will require surgery. Jones will return for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Houston Texans. The 32-year-old has played in only nine games this year, mostly due to a hamstring injury, and he's caught a disappointing 26 passes for 376 yards and no touchdowns on 39 targets. The Titans are getting healthy at the right time heading into the playoffs and have a nice matchup against Houston, but Jones has been an untrustworthy WR4/flex when he's been healthy in his first year in Tennessee.
