Lamar Jackson Has A Chance To Play In Week 18
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) has been pushing to return and "he has a chance to play Sunday" in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jackson hasn't played since spraining his ankle in Week 14. He returned to the practice last Wednesday but was limping badly, prompting him to sit out the rest of the week and miss his third straight game. The Ravens still have a small chance of getting into the postseason with a win this Sunday and some help, but it seems unlikely that Jackson will play to close out the season. That could change if he's able to practice and looks good, but fantasy managers still playing for a title this week should make sure to have a solid backup plan in place. Tyler Huntley would make another start against Pittsburgh if Jackson ultimately is ruled out.
