Darius Garland Receives Green Light To Play Tuesday
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland will take the floor for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies, marking a return from a four-game absence due to the league's health and safety protocols. Garland will not be on a minutes restriction, but he has not taken the floor since Dec. 26, which will likely keep him somewhere below his 34.2 minutes per game average. Still, Garland's DFS upside is plentiful with the Cavaliers' backcourt extremely thin due to injuries; Rajon Rondo (conditioning) will not yet make his Cavs debut, leaving Kevin Pangos as Garland's primary backup. The 21-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2021-22, as he is on pace to set new career bests at 19.5 points and 7.3 assists per contest.
