3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Shake Milton (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Orlando due to a back contusion. Milton struggled over his two most recent outings, having missed four games under the league's health and safety protocols around the Christmas holiday. With Tyrese Maxey (health and safety protocols) also down, Furkan Korkmaz and Seth Curry stand to see the vast majority of ball-handling duties, while Joel Embiid also possesses upside as a passer, evidenced by his triple-double Monday. When healthy, Milton has been a streaky offensive-minded contributor off the bench. His next chance to suit up comes Friday vs. the Spurs.--Jesse Borek
