Miles Sanders Misses Practice Tuesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (hand) did not take part in practice on Tuesday. Head coach Nick Sirianni said on Monday that the Eagles are hoping that Sanders will be available for the first round of the playoffs, so it's unlikely that he'll play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys. And with both Boston Scott and Jordan Howard landing on the COVID-19 list on Monday, Philadelphia could be down to rookie Kenneth Gainwell as their lead back against the division-rival Cowboys this weekend. If Sanders, Scott and Howard are all out in Week 18, expect the Eagles to elevate running backs Kerryon Johnson and Jason Huntley from the practice squad for depth behind Gainwell.
