Derrick Henry Officially Designated To Return From IR
3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans officially designated running back Derrick Henry (foot) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, clearing his way to return to practice. It has been nine weeks since Henry had surgery that came with an estimated recovery time of six to 10 weeks. If the Titans secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a win in Week 18 against the Houston Texans, it'll be 11 weeks since his injury. Henry should have more than enough time to return to full strength for a postseason run. With that in mind, fantasy managers still playing for a title in Week 18 shouldn't expect Henry to play this Sunday against the Texans. D'Onta Foreman, who had 26 carries for 132 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 win over the Miami Dolphins, should get one more week as the featured back for Tennessee, with Dontrell Hilliard and Jeremy McNichols occasionally mixing in behind him.
