Kyrie Irving Returns Wednesday, Will Play Around 30 Minutes
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard Kyrie Irving will make his season debut during Wednesday's matchup vs. the Pacers, with the seven-time All-Star expected to play around 30 minutes. Brooklyn will have its triumvirate of Irving, James Harden, and Kevin Durant all active for the first time all year, although the group has consistently proven to still be able to deliver elite fantasy production when playing together. Irving has delivered the two best scoring seasons of his career during his Nets tenure, combining for 27 PPG while shooting at a 49.8 percent clip overall, including 40 percent from behind the arc. Irving is primarily a DFS play at this stage, as he remains unavailable to complete during Nets home games due to his vaccination status. Patty Mills and Cam Thomas are likely to see their backcourt roles reduced when Irving plays, although both figure to factor heavily into Brooklyn's second unit.
