Karl-Anthony Towns Returns To Action Wednesday
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has been given the green light to suit up for Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City, ending his absence due to the league's health and safety protocols at six games. Towns was delivering production at an elite clip prior to landing in the protocols, having hit the 20-point plateau in 12 straight contests dating back to Nov. 26. All Timberwolves stand to see an offensive role reduction with Towns -- their leading scorer -- back in the mix, while Naz Reid and Nathan Knight will slot into their traditional reduced roles off the bench. Towns has dominated the Thunder throughout his career, averaging 25.7 points per game in addition to shooting 53.7 percent overall.
