Bengals Non-Committal On Whether Ja'Marr Chase Will Play
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that rookie wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase could "potentially" play on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns in the Week 18 regular season finale. The Bengals could theoretically move up to the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a win this weekend and some help, but they're likely leaning towards sitting most of their starters on Sunday. Quarterback Joe Burrow (knee) and starting running back Joe Mixon have already been ruled out from playing. Even if the 21-year-old star receiver starts, he's unlikely to play more than a few offensive series, making him extremely risky for starting fantasy lineups. Chase set the rookie record for receiving yards (1,428) after catching 11 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns in a Week 17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
