No Practice For Braxton Berrios On Wednesday
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Braxton Berrios (quadriceps) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's practice report. The Jets don't appear to be very worried that Berrios' injury will keep him from playing in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills, so we'd expect Berrios to return to practice in the coming days. He has benefitted from Jamison Crowder (calf) missing the last several games as the Jets primary playmaker out of the slot. In Week 17 against the Bucs, Berrios caught eight of 12 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown while adding two carries for 12 yards and another score. However, with Crowder and potentially rookie Elijah Moore (quadriceps) returning to play in the final game, Berrios' short-term fantasy appeal could be drying up.
