Ricky Seals-Jones, Curtis Samuel Ruled Out For Week 18
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (concussion) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hamstring) have been deemed unavailable to suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Giants. Seals-Jones enjoyed a productive stretch during October when Logan Thomas (knee) went down, but the 26-year-old ultimately finished the year with 30 receptions for 279 yards and two scores. John Bates stands to be the only true tight end option for Washington, but he is an entirely touchdown-dependent fantasy asset in either season-long or DFS formats. Samuel's season comes to an unceremonious end, having appeared in a career-low five games due to a myriad of injuries. The triumvirate of Terry McLaurin, Cam Sims, and Adam Humphries figures to continue being Taylor Heinicke's top passing focus, as Samuel can now eye a bounce-back 2022 campaign.
