"I don't think he needs to play. I think he wants to play and keep the momentum going," LaFleur said. The Packers have already locked up the NFC's No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs, so they don't have anything left to play for, except to keep their momentum going. The 38-year-old MVP front-runner has also been dealing with a fractured pinkie toe since mid-November, although it hasn't negatively affected his performance at all.
