3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine was widely touted as the team's lead back ahead of Sunday's defeat to the Browns, but that proved to be entirely false as the 26-year-old did not play a single offensive snap, even with Joe Mixon unavailable due to COVID-19. Undoubtedly, Perine's absence cost numerous fantasy managers in either the season-long or DFS market, with Trayveon Williams (nine) and Chris Evans (seven) splitting the backfield carries. Perine was able to notch 15 special teams snaps, so it wasn't a matter of keeping the back healthy ahead of the postseason, further flummoxing those who rolled the dice on Cincinnati's offense in its regular season finale. Perine shouldn't be on any fantasy radars for the postseason, especially with a Mixon return on the horizon.--Jesse Borek
