3 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Kemba Walker (knee) and center Nerlens Noel have been ruled out for Monday's game against San Antonio. The absences continue for both players, with Walker now having missed six consecutive contests, whereas Noel has missed 10 straight. Alec Burks and Immanuel Quickley have enjoyed elevated offensive roles in the backcourt without Walker in the mix, while Mitchell Robinson and Taj Gibson have held down the center spot in Noel's absence. Walker remains the vastly more intriguing fantasy candidate after having averaged 19.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists across six December contests. His next chance (and Noel's) to suit up comes Wednesday vs. the Mavericks.--Jesse Borek
