3 years agoHouston Rockets small forward Eric Gordon (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. Philadelphia due to a tight right groin. Gordon remains a premier season-long asset for those in search of three-pointers in categories formats, while his absence opens the door for Garrison Mathews and Josh Christopher to play larger scoring roles on the wing. Despite his scoring average dipping to 14.4 PPG, Gordon is knocking down triples at a 43.6 percent clip, his highest mark since 2014-15. (His overall shooting percentage -- 48.9% -- is on pace to be the best of his 14-year career.) The next chance for the veteran to return to action comes Wednesday against the Spurs.--Jesse Borek
