Jimmy Butler Will Miss Third Straight Game Wednesday
3 years agoMiami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Atlanta, marking his third consecutive absence due to a sprained right ankle. Max Strus has stepped into the starting five in place of Butler and combined for 39 points over his last two outings, giving him significant DFS appeal. Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Caleb Martin have all been asked to take on increased roles as well, giving them short-term season-long viability. Butler has been a terrific fantasy asset when healthy, but he will have appeared in just 23 of Miami's first 41 games. His next chance to suit up comes Friday in a rematch vs. the Hawks.
