3 years agoCenter DeMarcus Cousins has joined the Denver Nuggets ahead of a stretch where the team will play six games in the upcoming nine days. Cousins enjoyed a 17-game stint (five starts) earlier this year with Milwaukee, where he averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 boards per contest despite playing only 16.9 minutes on a nightly basis. Denver figures to use Cousins as instant offense off the bench, in addition to added depth for Nikola Jokic, who has been leaned upon heavily during the first half of the year. Cousins' role does not portend to season-long relevance at this stage, and his DFS prospects will be limited to solely when frontcourt absences crop up.--Jesse Borek
