DeMar DeRozan Will Be Held Out Of Monday’s Contest
3 years agoChicago Bulls power forward DeMar DeRozan (rest) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. Oklahoma City due to rest purposes. The team gets the luxury of resting DeRozan with Zach LaVine (knee) and Javonte Green (adductor) returning to action. Without DeRozan in the mix, Troy Brown Jr. and Tyler Cook stand to see elevated roles, although either will be tricky DFS assets, even in a condensed slate. The absence of LaVine has funneled the vast majority of Chicago's offensive duties to DeRozan, who averaged 30.6 PPG in his absence; while he may not have the same upside upon his return Wednesday against the Raptors, he has shot a career-best 50.5 percent against his former franchise (including a stunning 55.6% from behind the arc).
