3 years agoCorey Conners comes into the Farmers Insurance Open off his first missed cut of the season at The American Express last week. Besides that, Conners has three top-25 finishes in his four made cuts this season. In his career, Conners has made both of his career cuts at the Farmers Insurance Open but is still looking for a signature finish. However, that finish may be coming this week. Torrey Pines is a place you need to make putts, and Conners has been doing just that. Since the RSM Classic, Conners has been making a steady climb in the strokes gained putting category. Conners lost -.178 strokes in the RSM, gained .220 at the Sony Open, and gained 1.055 last week at The American Express.
