Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert Will Miss Wednesday’s Game
3 years agoUtah Jazz point/shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (concussion) and center Rudy Gobert (calf) have been ruled out for Wednesday's contest vs. the Suns. Neither player was available in Monday's loss, with Jordan Clarkson serving as the team's leading scorer and assist man, while Hassan Whiteside paced the club in boards; both figure to remain significant DFS assets for as long as Mitchell and Gobert are sidelined. Mitchell is tied for the sixth-most made triples (3.2) in the league on a nightly basis, with his 20.7 field-goal attempts per outing being absorbed by teammates such as Clarkson, Mike Conley, and Danuel House Jr. Healthy members of the Jazz have similarly had free reign on the boards with the league's top rebounder sidelined, with the next chance for either Gobert or Mitchell to play coming Friday against Memphis.
