3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle) will undergo ankle surgery on Wednesday. The 23-year-old played through the ankle injury towards the end of last season and ultimately needed surgery. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, he is expected to be fully recovered by the start of OTAs this spring. The Oklahoma product threw for 3,144 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and nine interceptions over 15 games in 2021. He added 784 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns on 139 attempts. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said earlier that Hurts showed enough to keep his job as the starting quarterback entering the 2022 season, making him a low-end fantasy QB1 as long he remains Philadelphia's starter.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
