3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant for Wednesday's estimated practice report. He briefly exited the NFC Championship Game win over the San Francisco 49ers early with a shoulder injury but returned later in the second half. The Rams put out an injury report despite not practicing Wednesday. Since returning from an Achilles tear in Week 18, the 22-year-old has rushed for 154 yards on 59 attempts while catching eight of nine targets for 72 yards over four games. The Rams will be careful with their starting running back and most likely limit his practice reps in the next two weeks. Akers will lead Los Angeles' backfield and should be all systems go for the Super Bowl matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
